The value of lecture in learning process is very big and plays a leading role, although it has, in our opinion, advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of lectures include the fact that with the help of the lecture, you can obtain the latest information, and without limitation of the audience. The contact with the audience, in whose eyes it is seen, if the information is mastered or not, understandable or not, plays a vital part. The use of auxiliary means helps to understand the lecture material better. The lecture helps to systematize knowledge that was previously obtained on the subject. Moreover the lecture has pedagogical value and, to some extent, saves sources for education. The great interest among students is aroused with the use of different techniques during lectures: slides, models, collections, drawings, tables, graphs, as well as use of means on the principle of “bring your own devices” — computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, mobile phone, etc.

Key Words: lecture, learning process, knowledge, student.
