The article presents data on the causes and mechanisms of organic (mechanical) and functional chronic duodenal obstruction (СDO). The article highlights the methods of diagnosis, drug correction of primary and secondary functional syndromes in compensated and subcompensated stages of CDO. In this article is paid attention to the use of drugs that aimed to restore the stomach and duodenum motor function, to ensure normal antroduodenal transit and if necessary — to eliminate bacterial infection in the duodenum and adjacent organs.
