Primary biliary cirrhosis from pathogenesis to treatment.

The article presents the current data on the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis. It is shown that the priority in the treatment belongs to UDCA drugs.

Key Words: primary biliary cirrhosis, pathogenetic therapy, ursodeoxycholic acid, cholestasis.
