Clinical epidemiology of connective tissue dysplasia (CTD) in the student population. Mitral valve prolapse and phenotype of CTD.

CTD and mitral valve prolapse are one of the most common cardiological pathologies among young people. The course and prognosis depend on the frequency of occurrence, severity, multifactorial effects on body organs and systems. Clinical and epidemiological methods establish the prevalence of phenotypic signs of CTD, a third of students have two or more signs of CTD. In students with mitral valve prolapse chordae changes and signs of CTD are more common.
