Psychoemotional disorders among women of different age groups under conditions of chronic war-related stress represent one of the most pressing medical and social challenges of modern healthcare. Prolonged stress, anxiety, and depressive disorders are closely associated with neuroendocrine dysregulation, reproductive dysfunction, and somatic health impairment, yet often remain undiagnosed at early stages.
The aim of this study was to summarize current scientific evidence on the impact of chronic war-related stress on women’s health and to analyse the limitations of existing psychometric tools. Materials and methods included a narrative review and structured analysis of indexed publications. The analysis revealed that most standardized questionnaires lack sufficient sensitivity to gender-specific aspects of women’s health in wartime conditions.
Key words: chronic stress, psychoemotional disorders, women’s health, reproductive function, wartime stress, primary healthcare
