The article examines the relationship between physical health and spiritual life in the context of the medical and ethical foundations of religious traditions. The relevance of the topic is determined by the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, psycho-emotional disorders, and the general decline in population health worldwide, which necessitates the search for an integrative approach to maintaining harmony between body, mind, and spirit. In this context, religious models of health are analyzed as examples of a holistic, prevention-oriented lifestyle, where spiritual beliefs are combined with medical ethics and hygienic practices. The study focuses on the key elements of such paradigms: moderate or vegetarian nutrition, abstinence from harmful habits (alcohol, tobacco, stimulants), physical activity, cleanliness, a balanced daily routine, emotional stability, the use of natural remedies, and regular rest as an integral part of spiritual and physical renewal. Particular attention is given to the biblical and religious-ethical foundations of these principles, as well as their practical implementation in the everyday life of faith communities. It is argued that such models possess not only a conceptual but also an empirical basis. In particular, the results of a number of studies (including Adventist Health Studies and others) demonstrate a reduction in cardiovascular diseases, oncological pathologies, diabetes, and depression among believers who adhere to a preventive and health-promoting lifestyle, thus confirming the effectiveness of a comprehensive approach to health. Spiritual practices, participation in religious communities, prayer, and social service are shown to positively correlate with psychological resilience and life expectancy. In conclusion, it is emphasized that religious traditions make an important contribution to the development of modern health culture, where spiritual and ethical principles do not contradict scientific achievements but rather complement them, forming a foundation for a harmonious, holistic, and conscious way of life. Such an approach may serve as a valuable resource for medical and social programs, educational initiatives, and spiritual counseling in the face of the challenges of the twenty-first century.
