Teachers of the Department of Hygiene, Epidemiology, Disinfection and Occupational Diseases of Kharkiv National Medical University within the framework of the postgraduate education system in the cycles of specialization “Epidemiology” and thematic improvement for general practitioners-family doctors, pediatricians, therapists, infectious disease specialists, epidemiologists, conducting classes in the distance learning form, apply methods for developing critical thinking. The paper presents the results of assessing the effectiveness of the use of these methods, which is confirmed by statistical research. It is shown that problem-oriented and simulation training, case method, as well as debates and discussions are the most priority methods for developing critical thinking for the educational process of doctors. However, in addition to the use of pedagogical technologies, the effectiveness of training postgraduate students depends on the relevance of the topics, motivation and basic professional training of the doctor. Therefore, with the active use of interactive methods, simulations, work with evidence-based medicine and constant reflection, distance learning can effectively develop critical thinking of doctors in advanced training cycles.<\/p>\n
