The influence of the war on the process of formation of Ukraine has been studied. The historical experience of physical culture in Ukraine, which developed in conditions of constant danger, is described. The experience of evacuating higher educational institutions during wars will be mentioned. The differences between distance learning, blended learning and traditional learning are analyzed. It was stated that the physical education program does not meet the needs of modern times. The needs for the development of training of future physical education teachers have been updated, taking into account innovations.
